1831 - Food HD
1837 - WCGV HD
1838 - Wisconsin Eye
1839 - CSPAN2
1840 - Showtime Next
1841 - Showtime Family
1842 - Showtime Women
1843 - ESPN Classic
1844 - Fox Business

I hope this means some new additions on the horizon

Sounds cool!  I think Food Network is already offered on channel 515 in most areas, but if it isn't you'll know it's coming.  TWC is finally getting it together with more HD content.  These additions should push us to around 50 channels or more.

For HD subs, the biggie has to be MLB HD!  Sure that will be amazing in March!

That is so TWC can dump HDNET and HDNET Movies, a corporate decision, but certainly not with THIS subscriber in mind.
These channels are not really additions, rather, replacements for the HDNETs, sad as that seems.:bang:

Where is the Weather Channel HD, ESPNU HD and Planet Green HD coming?

So are these 2 channels going to be part of the waste of money HD package?

Yes, how did you ever guess?:huh?:

I don't have the HD Premium tier, but know tons of people who are justifiably PO about the loss of the HD-Net Movies.  It seems that the head of HD-Net,  Mark Cuban,  wanted additional money for contract renewal for his stations. TWC said "Too Much" and Mr. Cuban said that he was willing to drop his original asking price by 75% and TWC still said "no."

However, nobody knows what Mr. Cuban's current price is.  TWC should have just offered those stations as part of the regular Digital HD tier all along.  Mr. Cuban wanted to move those stations to this tier, but apparently at a rate increase that would have affected all TWC Digital subscribers.

I guess TWC sees the HD Networks as more "niche" channels with not enough mainstream appeal to allow them to stay.  Had those stations IMO been a part of digital HD standard all along, I don't think this would be a problem.  HD Theater is all HD on Digital HD standard, so why couldn't HD-Net and HD Net movies be treated the same way?

I mean, if they were making room for NFL Network or something big to justify the drop, I could see the point a little better.  However, out of all the HD channel choices that could be replacing the HD NET stations, the best corporate could do is offer Smithsonian TV and Mav TV?  And still on the optional HD premium tier?  What crap!

If TWC were smart these two new channels would be part of a free preview to get people into the channels and then cut them off in hopes that people will pay for them.
