First off, I'm not trying to knock having a child abduction warning (or amber alert if that's what they are still called).  I get the importance of this stuff.

What is up with the message they had going this morning?  I haven't seen one in a while... but I swear they used to give actual information.  The one on my screen said that there was an alert and it was for counties in SE Wisconsin.  Shouldn't there be info on where the kid was taken from, what they look like, how old, etc?

I'm on CableCARD, so I don't know if that impacts the message displayed.  I just thought it was really odd that they had zero information and I was wondering if there was a reason for it.

The information on the child is in the audio message that goes along with the crawl.   The screen is the generic message from the EAS box at the cable headend

Hmm, I had no audio message.  Must be a CableCARD/TiVo thing.
