I'm surprised Journal Broadcast Group is paying for any of their stations to go HD with all the budget cuts recently.

Also, does anyone remember this? Hopefully WISN will keep their promise.

I believe, it is because Las Vegas, must have a hiher  HDTV penetration rate, then does Milwaukee!

Its the TV station itself paying for the upgrades, not Journal Broadcasting. Journal Broadcasting just owns the stations. The stations make their own profits. Surely KTNV isn't going to buy for WTMJ-TV's News equipment and cameras to do HD.

Perhaps they have a mini casino in their lobby of the TV station, like a few slots, poker and BJ machines to make a little bit of revenue for themselves.
