Just got off the phone with an AT&T rep (cold call), she said that they were trying to get my business back because their records show that I switched phone service away from AT&T...

Of course I switched from AT&T (the phone company) to AT&T (U-verse)...

So I let her spend about 10 minutes explaining all the givebacks and incententives for switching "back" to AT&T, and when she finally asked which phone company I switched to I told her "AT&T"...

Dunno why, I just find this kind of stuff humorous....  AT&T competing to get my business back from AT&T...  I find that kind of funny....

.... I don't think the world really works anymore, at least not the way it used to...

It's amazing what a few extra bucks to better filter their customer lists would do for overall savings in sales/payroll/advertising.  I get elaborate booklets/brochures every week telling me to switch to UVerse.  It's not available around me...
