I can see Food HD on 1815 now... but the rest of the new ones are unwatchable... constant audio and video breakups.

Bigdog

I just reset the boxes here (in Grafton) and don't see any of them here either....:bang:

Mikey

I got them all in the 1800's now...though tonight they are all unwatchable.

pixelation galore, freezing, breakups, sound dropouts...all of them in the 1800's (the new ones) and a few in the 500's.

HD quality is for **** tonight on TWC.

10p in Greenfield, nothing on the 18xx or 5xx for the new HD ads - all channels are dark.

Rebooted the box and voila, getting the new HD ads in their 5xx spots. Grid is updated as well.

Good lord, I can (could) even watch Jon & Kate + 8 in HD:p :p . Isn't this a great country!!

Just noticed in the grid for PalladiaHD they show HD (or are they 'hd'?) videos from 2a-5a. Will have to DVR that to see what's up. This channel looks kind of interesting.

Milwaukee, East side - Cable box rebooted last night ~8:00 pm and now some of the new HD channels are available in the 500 channel range.    515- FOODD, 523- MHD, 538- DISCD, 540- TLCHD, 543- ANMLD.

5 out of 13 not bad TWC so far...

weedydeed: So you actually GET Discovery HD, now?:huh?:

Here in the southern TWC area, though we first got the five channels listed in the programme guide in the 500's, we only get a placeholder for this HD channel, it still says "not available" when you try access it yet.:(

I got that for the first couple of days here in Ozaukee Cty. on Discovery HD, while the other 4 worked fine.  Then on Tuesday the 16th, Food HD had the unavailable slate up, while the other 4 worked (including Discovery HD).  Then on Wednesday all 5 showed up, but had the constant video/audio break-ups.  Now since Thursday all 5 of them have worked consistently.

I'm in Bay View and have had the first five in the 500s for a few days now.  Hopefully TWC Milwaukee is coming around finally and will keep the channels coming (without raising our rates).  Competition is indeed a good thing.  For those of us who have been hanging on to TWC, it's a start at least.

Also, FWIW, with the new season of Entourage and the good things I had read about True Blood, I called TWC earlier in the week to check on HBO deals.  I got HBO and Cinemax (though I didn't really care much about Cinenmax) for $8.95 (12 month price).  Not too bad.

Out here in Waukesha, they are still not listed in the 500 range.  Although I've had no issues watching them on the 18xx channels.  I just wish TW would officially move them into the guide, so I can access them a little easier, and also move some of my recordings on to them.

Can you (or have you tried to) DVR record those test channels in the 1800 range?

Is anyone else who still has these channels in the 1800's having pixelation issues?  My HD channels have been crap all day whether watching football or golf.

Mikey

Yes.  My channels in the 1800s pixelate like crazy.  There is usually more pixelation than not whenever I wander up there to see whats on.

Though I did get to see the Pearl Jam Storytellers on the palladia channel this afternoon ok.  That was cool.

Yeah.  I recorded American Chopper Thu off the 1800 channel.  Only thing is, I can't figure out a way to schedule these ahead of time.  I had to wait till the show started and manually press the record button.

Here in Greendale, after I rebooted,I'm getting 515(food)525(Paladium)538(Disc)540(tlc) and 543 (Animal Planet) I also noticed they've FINALLY added FSN Wisconsin to the guide. Actually will show games listed, this makes it much easier to set recordingsWhat took them so long?:huh?:

After several re-boots I have no new channels out here in Hartland.  I still dont even have the Big Ten Network on my channel guide.  I can tune to the BTN in both SD and HD, but they arent in the guide yet.
