The Dawn of SDV?

So I was watching The Simpsons on 506 (TWC) last night, and it suddenly cut out. I then checked, and all my channels worked - except for the HD channels. I did a soft and hard reboot of my TiVo HD (w/ 2 SA CableCards), and had a TWC rep send a hit - no luck. We confirmed the serial numbers, and other information on the cards, and s till no luck. So I've got a truck rolling out on Wednesday.

The rep (and her supervisor) had no idea what SDV (Switched Digital Video) is, and when I asked to talk to a tech or an engineer, she said that none were in the building that she was. All the techs that have been to my house said SDV wouldn't be rolled out until the summer, buttt...who knows. So my question for those of you with CableCards is - are you guys also not able to see your HD Channels? If so, The Dawn of SDV might be upon us!

I don't think SDV is being used yet.  I took a picture of the diagnostics screen on my Navigator box and it says SDV isn't enabled:

Hrm.....I live near downtown.....could they be deploying it to different areas at different times?

I suppose it's possible.  I would imagine they would want to slowly deploy it so that they can find any problems early on.  Of course they know there's problems with Navigator, but they still deployed that.

We've had the HD channels in our house disappear as well (8300 HDC) but the tech that came out blamed it on signal strength.  An power amp was put in place and we haven't had any problems (with that) since.
