More TWC lies

Just looked at TWC website and under HD programming it states:
Subscribe to Premium Services like HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, The Movie Channel and Starz and you will receive their HD feed at no extra charge.

UH,since when?Last time I checked they STILL only carry HBO & Showtime in HD.
I'm so sick of their 'straw-grasping' commercials they continue to run (home of free hd) On a side note,  who ,like me,  is SO SICK AND TIRED of the at&t commercials with the talking lion?  I must have seen  it 15 times during the Brewer game last night?! :bang:

I love my mute button :D

TWC uses the same ads and info as it does for better TWC locations (not Wisconsin), that's the whole problem here.

We shouldn't even begin to "think" about the fact the other three HD premium channels are offered in HD, much less their east and west counterparts also offered, including FIVE Starz HD channels many TWC locations throughout the country enjoy, already.

Yet, upon reviewing the costs that other TWC locations charge for these HD channels and its so called "Free HD", we are getting screwed in Wisconsin by getting LESS THAN HALF of the HD channels, for about the SAME PRICING!

Bev & Co. at TWC think us HD subs are "ignorant" of this, IMO and don't know this:

Readers of this forum: You do, now.:D

Now that Navigator is upon us HD subs:

Maybe we, as TWC Wisconsin HD subscribers, should start looking as "how" TWC can half the cost of our bills until they start delivering the same amount of HD channels, as in double (as other TWC locations) and we don't still get.

Yes, the AT&T lion and his groupie commercials are annoying, but unless AT&T gets its "act together" to make its service more readily available, it should stop advertising so much, IMO and substantially increase its service area, first.
I know the Kenosha County area is finally seeing many AT&T trucks around, now that the install moratorium is over, but it will be probably be a year before my neighbourhood gets the chance at service from them, lion & groupie or not.

Is everyone supposed to have "Navigator" by now?  I still have "passport" or whatever the old one is called.  Don't tell on me if somehow I snuck by without an update!

I still have Passport too.  I think the plan is to do sectioned pushes and eventually have everyone on board by the end of the month.  It's coming for you eventually (me too).

One of my 8300HDs got it and the other not...it has been several days.
A friend I know on this board has three, one is on Passport and the other two on Navigator MDN.
This was a good thing, as Navigator wiped out the Series Manager in LIST for most of the shows, so the Passport DVR's listings could be at least "written down" for future Navigator additions.

Well, that's why I switched to Uverse.  Tired of the fact that TWC Wisconsin has only half the HD channels that their other markets.  That's why I am not paying my final bill from TWC!  They sent it to TWO collection agencies!  Wow, I wonder how much they are spending for those two collection agencies to collect $88 out of me?  They'll never get it out of me!  Screw 'em!

One day you will need to borrow money.

That will come up on your credit report.

You will then have to scramble to pay and get it cleared up just to get your loan.

This will cause great anger and stress.

Just pay it now.

I was just about to say the same thing. It's not worth $60. TWC will get their money owed one way or another. Might as well make it easy on yourself and pay the money owed now.

If you legitimately owe the money pay it.  If you feel they did not live up to the contract then by all means fight it.  First send the collection agency a debt verification letter.  They will have 30 days to prove that you owe the money. They cannot put anything in your credit report until this is done. In the meantime file an online complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the states AG's office.  But make sure you do this only if you feel you legally do not owe them money.

If you do end up paying the collection agency get them to agree to take off anything negative they may have put in your credit report.  They can and will do it.

This is really dumb.  Subprime mortgages are going the way of the dodo so I hope you don't need a mortgage anytime soon.  That's the only thing you'd get with what you are doing to your credit rating to try and prove a point (which you will never prove anyway because they don't care).
