Hey, I am looking into getting directv but i was wondering how i am able to get CBS 58 HD on Directv?
I know i have to get it OTA, but do i have to get an additional tuner with the HR21 (since they dont have hr20)?  Or can i have them hook up an antenna to the two hdtvs (one upstairs, one downstairs) that both have integrated OTA tuners?

So basically, I have 2 HDTV'S  (one in basement, one in living room). I want them to both get CBS 58HD ota.    Both HDTV'S have an integrated OTA tuner. And i want to be able to record both as well.
How does directv accomplish that?
I want this all to be done by directv.

Well first off let me congratulate you on your wise move to leave TWC for DirectTV. Since you have an integrated OTA tuner I suggest you purchase a rabbit ear
antenna (many now are HDTV capable for about $30 to $50). Hook it up to your tv and run a scan. You should pick up many digital channels. See if you get CH58. If you do you are all set. When you get hooked up with DirectTv your will be given the HR21. You will then be able to purchase their OTA tuner AM21 (due out at the end of the month). That will merge your OTA channels with the HR21.  You can then record CH58 on the DVR.  Good Luck!
