HoopHead;

Thanks for the info.  Looking forward to the tourney.  Hopefully the Badgers game will be one of the ones in HD!  Go Bucky!

Dan;

Keep up the good work.  The signal on 58-3 does look better tonight.  The ME-TV stuff is lots of fun to watch.  "Man From U.NC.L.E."   wow... havne't seen that in ages.  The old commericals are pretty funny also.   Thanks!

Quote from: DanDyer;44933You should see that the signal for 58-3 is much better now.  As for the concern about the new technology, we are working with several new pieces of equipment that takes time to get it set right.  On top of that, with new equipment, no matter how well it may be tested, there are still failures.  We are currently in a multi-week process of upgrading the equipment without causing a loss of signal for viewers.  It would be nice if there was such a thing as an "Easy" button.

Thanks for the update. I'm really glad that you are working the bugs out while there is very little new content in prime time. Hopefully evrything will come together before the post-strike programming hits the air.

What are the long range plans for the sub-channels? will they be eventually moved off of 58 onto a different channel?

Doug

Gamera

Hmmm...TWC channel 201 comes in fine on our digital cable box & TV but doesn't come in at all on the HDTV w/ cable card even though we're paying for the same digital lineup on it.  I hate TWC.  :mad:

StarvingForHDTV

I love the new Me-TV  I hope it gets moved to 41-2 during the NCAA tournament.

Quote from: SRW1000;44897I was watching for a while tonight.  There seemed to be a number of digital hiccups - noticeable pixels, audio dropouts, etc.  Not unwatchable, but not very clear either.

I do like the programming mixture though.  They even have the flashback commercials like TV Land used to feature.  I wonder if they get any payments for those old commercials?

Scott

Is MeTV going to fix the pixelation problems?  (I watch on TWC dvr'd) or is it a bandwidth issue that can't be fixed?
