up and down? anyone else having these issues?

It will be really loud all of a sudden, and then I turn it down. Then I can't hear it, so I turn it up...forget about it... and then it's blasting again. What gives?:huh?:

I'm having a lot of pixelation during the Marquette game.

Maybe they should either a)  shut down "MeTV" or b) only show the HD game and drop the secondary game?

I haven't been having any issues with the network feeds (i.e. the shows), but when the local news or local commercial spots come on the audio gets "fuzzy" or "staticy" (yes I know that's not a word  ).  I thought at first there was something wrong with my TV until I noticed it was only happening to CBS58.

Ch 58 HD audio from the network is always hotter than the other HD stations in town.  Local cut-ins, or inserts, which are only SD, come in even louder.  These are digital signals guys, being louder isn't going to get your signal out any farther!

FWIW, since digital signals can support wide variations in audio without any real difference in bandwidth, there are ongoing discussions in engineering circles across the country, on just what standard audio levels ought to be.

It seems to me that simply switching from one area station to another should reveal such gross differences like Ch. 58 has.  It certainly is annoying to surf across the station and have it stress the audio system compared to the other local stations.
