I'm considering directv but I need to find out about brewers games since that is one of the main reasons I watch tv.

I see that 642-1 now exists but I've heard that brewers games on directv are blacked out if at home and not sold out.  I have also heard you can often watch the last inning because they black out only for three hours.  With all brewers home games in hd, I don't want to miss out.

My 2nd tv today is not hd but may be soon.  Do the hd directv recievers allow coax output as well?

You will get the Brewer games on FSN just fine on DirecTV.  You must have heard it from a TWC rep.

They don't have a coax out, but a relatively cheap RF Modulator can be used.  All of the outputs (HDMI, Componen, S-Video, and Composite) on the HR2x boxes are on at the same time, so you can hook up multiple displays.

See this post on DBSTalk for more info and a nice pdf on connecting multiple tv's to the HR-2x DVR boxes.
