Are we all out of our minds? Every winter I ask myself and my wife this. I'll talk her into moving one of these years.

And all it seems so simplistic.

I think I finally realized why our collective taxes are so outrageous.....................

It is this lousy weather

First it snows................they have to plow & salt( Kaaaaaachinge)

It tears up our cars........( Kaaaachinge)

The furnace never shuts off ( Kaaachinge)

Come spring if it ever gets here, they have to fix the streets ( Kaaachinge)

Next winter, it all starts up again.......

I will be in Phoenix this summer, yes I said summer..........

Much cheaper at that time of year......................

If the temperature is 115, it feels like 85 here. And why is that you ask???

Because the humidity is 5 %/dew point 10%...vs 90% and 75%.

If the real estate market ever turns around, we might all come to our senses and get out of here.

Afterall, with Satelite dishes we can see our favorite teams wherever we are.

Nuff said.

Variety, baby!

You're living in a geographic area that not only has real seasons, but where temperatures can swing over 100 degrees between them.

Six months from now you'll be experiencing temperatures in the 90s.

Yes, and with the humidity, we will have to change our shirts if we walk 2 feet......

when me & my wife retire in 10 years (I know long long time) , going to Sun shine state FLORIDA not looking back. Hate the winter, specialy this year.

Florida summers are too damn humid for me. I sure like to bitch, don't I?

I lived in Florida for ten years..............Moved up here because of the horrid school system. I would never move back to the south. Nothing but a bunch of backward hicks. Much prefer the southwest.

Another vote against Florida here. Gimme Arizona instead.

Several other reasons to move to Arizona

Taxes are about 1/4 of what we pay

gas is about 50 cents less a gallon

Roads are like glass

And water, which is  always the supposed concern in the desert................

Runs about $50.00 per month. Does not sound like much of a concern to me.

REVM1M

I won't have  kids in school by then, so I am not worried about school system. Also I could handel 3 months of hot & humid VS 7 or 8 months of cold .

Cactus League >>>> Grapefruit League

The grapefruit league is shrinking. Dodgers are moving to Arizona, next year

The beauty of the cactus league is that the farthest distance from one venue to another is about an hour..........

Grapefruit has distance of 3 to 4 hours + it rains.............

I dislike Florida as well for the same reasons. My ex wife is talking about moving to FL very soon. My son, who turned 16 yesterday wants nothing to do with FL and would rather stay in Cedarburg because of the school. I hope she sticks it our for 2 more years so he can finish up here and go to college. Then she can move wherever she wants.

I would rather be in Las Vegas, Arizona or New Mexico. After this winter I have come to HATE this weather and can do without it. Today I am sick, likely from blowing snow in sub-zero conditions and going in and out during this crap.
