My SA8300HD with eSATA drive has suddenly started to have problems receiving digital channles (i.e. those above 100).  It started with not being able to receive the network HD channels (just gray screen), then now I can't get 505 or a smattering of channels in the 101-199 range.   Is anyone else having this problem or does my SA8300HD need to be replaced?  TIA Danno

If you haven't tried "rebooting" it yet, do that first. The easiest way to do this is to unplug the unit, wait a minute or two, and plug it back in. (while it's not recording anything, of course :) )

Yes, I rebooted the device and had TWC's computer reset my equipment with no luck.  I am wondering if the outside cable is damaged because the trouble channels change around...

Turned out to be a bad coax cable. Danno
