My band's new CD

Hey folks...

Just a bit of self-promotion. I hope no one minds...

The 'band' I'm in has a new CD that just released yesterday. I use quotations around band as we're all separated around the globe in five different locations. We create our music by sharing files accross the Internet. It's been amazing how well this has worked out for us.

Anyway, the new CD, "Ticket To Infinity" is available for download at many download sites on the web. Amazon has it along with many others.

You can listen to previews at that site. If you like and wish to buy, grab the mp3s there or if you would prefer a 'real' CD, they are available here.

This site is obviously not for promoting ourselves...if that was the case, there would be tons of useless posts.
I am sure your CD is good, but this is hardly the place for advetising it.

IMHO I don't mind seeing posts like this here in the chit-chat topic.  I recall seeing other such posts over the years, and in fact I find it interesting what other people in our MilwaukeeHDTV.org community do outside of posting here

Not pointing this out to pull rank, but just to use the opportunity to elaborate on cjucoder's sentiment (and our philosophy).

Make friends, be helpful, help us get to know you, keep your posts in the right forums, stick around for a while and you'll be one of us. This will become your forum, too. And we'll welcome news of an accomplishment like Steve's.

Thanks Talos... Yes, it really is amazing what you can do today with the technology that's available. The five of us being separated around the globe and having never met. Who woulda thunk we could put a CD out?

You better start digging though your boxes in the basement for those gig recordings!
