Dan the Man

I received this lovely card in the mail:

FRONT:

"Wishing you peace and joy in the coming year."

INSIDE:

"As we look forward to the New Year ahead, we wanted to let you know how grateful we are to have you as a Time Warner Cable customer.

To show our appreciation, we would like to offer you a FREE one-month trial of our new unlimited local home phone service.

Call xxx-xxx-xxx today to find out how much you could save per month compared to your current service.

Happy New Year, From Your Friends at Time Warner Cable"

Wow, how generous. How about a free month of Road Runner? I bet I could get that phone deal anytime of the year if I called and asked them.

I would have rather they just sent a card saying thanks for the business.

Thanks a lot TWC.

After I set up my Uverse install, I came home to find this card in my mailbox. If only it came 1 day earlier. ;)

Heck, the only anything I get from lovely Time Warner Cable is a billing statement on line for their wonderful service:
RR is great, Digital Phone is good and their cable TV division sucks.
That whole tornado mess with TWC in Kenosha was the tip of the cable "iceburg" when it comes to incompetant service reps and lousy HD channel selection.
klwillis45:
Keep your U-Verse service, at least where you are, you can get it, unlike Kenosha!

Mr. GHarris if you can't have your way with TWC, why don't you just disconnect  instead of rambling on and on on the same topic,  over and over again without much effect. You almost sound paranoid.Isn't there's much more to life besides HDTV.

And you are on this forum because...?

DO you even HAVE a HDTV (and therefore KNOW of its excellent PQ/AQ?)
---Doubt it.

You don't have to read my comments, okay?

Aw, I didnt get a card from TWC.  Shortly after I dropped them for Uverse though, I received a postcard from them telling me that wanted me back and they had a special offer made specifically for me that would hopefully bring me back.    Coincidentally enough, it was the same exact offer that was advertised on TV and TWC also customized the same offer for everyone else I know who had also dropped their service.  I think this just shows how much TWC actually cares about our its customers.
