DTV education in 2008

So now that we are in 2008 will this be the year  we will finally see the broadcasters running ads, and news reports maybe specials on the upcoming DTV transition?

Even more important will there be someone who even knows what they are talking about!

Should be interesting lots of confussion still out there.  Just heard yesterday by my father-in-law that someone he works with told him in Feb. 09 you will HAVE to have cable or satellite and pay monthly in order to get TV.  Where does this crap come from?:bang:
