Tom, thanks for bringing that ad to my attention. I saw it a couple times over the weekend but didn't really pay attention.

I can't believe TWC could actually get away with something like this.

Football games represent the last of a dying breed of OTA sports that fans shouldn't have to pay extra to watch.

There aren't and never were that many out of market NFL games on free OTA except Monday Night Football over the years and the playoffs.

Too many people seem to believe that they always had out of market games free OTA. Except for the playoffs and MNF, you never saw out of market games which is exactly what the NFL Network is offering = out of market games. Yes, I know that Fox and CBS do have doubleheaders on Sundays so you can count that as free.

If there still was no NFL network, you never would have seen that Patriots game last week anyhow.

I can't believe TWC could actually get away with something like this.

After seeing this ad for themselves, my neighbours, who are purchasing a new HDTV set next week, made a decision to go with DirectvHD after this one.
They are keeping RR and DPhone, but dumping cableTV for better selection and less BS.

TWC is losing HD customers and running scared with these ads and even my neighbours could smell deception with this new ad.
