I just read that TMC will launch the NHL Network in December. (Need the date verified, I think it's the 27th.)  This shows that they CAN get some good sports network programing.  NHL will be on the digital sports package.  Can Big Ten Network and the NFL Network be far behind?

Notice it wasn't NHL Network HD, like San Antonio, TX TWC gets, was it?

That its coming (in SD digital) is good news, but no HD channel?

TWC: Why NOT?:bang:

Good- maybe I can catch more Red Wings games...

Another location in NY state just got this channel in HD, too, so it could be a bandwidth sort of thing or is not positioned for SDV.
The notice in the TWC website does not always update as it should and so far, it does not indicate this as being an HD channel.
(Nor any more other HD channels for December, either:( )

The programming guide states that you must subscribe to the Sports Package to get it (besides the HD capable set and box).

Either way, hockey in HD is very cool, like when its on HDNET, for example.:D

Chinatown

Have had this & NBA HD channels for the last 3 months.

I guess you satellite subs like to "rub it in" a bit, huh?:p

San Antonio, TX has NBA HD, too - it's an option in their "Sports Package".

While we're "wishing" they just added The National Geographic Channel HD today!
...TWC Milwaukee really stinks!

Look, I had cable for 20 years. Like you, I got fed up with all the excuses. Have had Satelite for the past 10 years. The cost is the same.

Why put up with all the frustration.

If you have a clear view of the southern sky, come on-board.

Dont take my word for it, just read the other posts on this forum.

Great you have Directv and for all of those who do:
You made a wise decision because now you have every HD channel available
-outside of cable's "MOJOHD" and those Dishnet "Voom" HD channels, of course.:D

Some of us will be happy to get that NHL channel and hopefully, it will be HD, as other TWC locations already have it.;)

You see, TWC Milwaukee is adding more HD channels, but it could be (and probably is)
-doing it way too slowly to satisfy the "HD appetite" for many HDTV owners.

This happens especially with newer HDTV set owners I get setups for:
They wonder why TWC has so few HD channels as compared to others like D* when I do the provider comparisons that are asked for.

Thanks for the info on D*, though...:D
