Split component cables

It is possible to split component cable to 2 different TVs. I am putting a 19" LCD in my bathroom, and don't want to have an extra box in there, and will access my DVR via RF   remote. I currently run an HDMI cable from box to TV, and  from the same box I run 100 feet of component cable to my basement TV. Currently everything looks and works great.

You shouldn't do that as you will probably have some degredation of signal depending on the output from the box.  But it is possible as most boxes have more than enough signal.  Give it a try, if your picture isn't good then get a line amp with multiple outputs and you'll be fine.

Just in case, where can I pick up a line amp with multiple outputs> Any particular model, brand

Thanks

I use a CE Labs AV400COMP to split component output.  I found a couple for a little over $200 each online earlier this year.  There may be cheaper alternatives..

I use a Radio Shack Component Switch that has four inputs and two outputs...It has worked very nice, and since it is powered, I have seen little to no signal degradation.  The price point was perfect around 30 bucks and includes 2 channel audio, and digital coaxial audio switching with each input.  I just checked their site for it, but was unable to see it there...but they may have them in stores only.
