D* added FSN HD Wisconsin today.

Channel: 642-1

That must have been one of the 23 HD channels D* added today, huh?

Now there is no reason, outside of network locals off of the dish, one here shouldn't change to DirectvHD!

Sweet.  HD Brewers and Bucks games have been on 94 or 95, this makes it easier. I had been told this channel wouldn't be added until next year when the next bird goes up.

Is it actually FSN-Wisconsin? Or just FSN North that we have been receiving with just games on that channel?

Both: 641 AND 642-1

642-1 was up - but not operational - for the Bucks game last night.

My understanding is the new -1 channels are game only channels when the games are avialable in HD.

When the games were in HD it was a crap shoot as to whether the games would be the ones selected for broadcast on 94-95.

The chances are now better that we will get them.

It looks to me like they added 642-1 for any games that are in HiDef.

We still get the FSN North broadcasting. I turned it on after the Bucks game last night and there was Best Damn Sports Show on 641 and some paid religious program on 642. This morning I turned it on and there was something about the Gophers on 641 and nothing on 642.

Hopefully, they're just working out the bugs.

Channel 642-1 is a "games only" channel. So when FSN-WI broadcasts a game in HD, that's where the game will be. Time Warner has a "games only" FSN-WI HD channel: 531.
