Bill Johnson on WAUK is the worst TWC puppet there.

He just now said sarcastically how awful it is for us to have to sit in a bar and be able to drink all afternoon watching the Badger game.

Is he contracturally unable to speak the truth?

So what, are fathers supposed to take their little kids with them to the bar to watch a football game?  Are underage kids supposed to sneak in with fake ID's to watch the Badger game?

They REFUSE to say how f'd up TWC is being to their customers.

Just this fact alone is turning me off of these guys...and I enjoy their show for the most part...but this company line they are spewing is making me sick.

I've had issue with that station for a long time, and Johnson is such a TOOL that I don't even listen to him anymore. Not only does the station have a very weak signal, I'm not that happy with their programing.

I'm actually a fan of Tennessee and ironically have not missed a game in 5 years because they are either on CBS, ESPN or Gameplan.  I have more access to the  Vols through TWC than the local team.

If Time Warner Cable doesn't offer the channel(s) you want (be it Big Ten, NFL Network, or whatever), then drop Time Warner Cable  and get Dish, DirecTV, or U-Verse. Bitching and moaning about it here is pointless.

Write letters (not e-mails- pen and paper letters) and make phone calls to Time Warner Cable's headquarters, and their SE Wisconsin division and tell them that you've dropped their service because they don't offer the channels you want. If you keep paying them, they'll assume you're content getting the channels you have.  

I don't really care if they add the damned football channels to the lineup- there are like 3 or 4 TV channels and 2 radio stations already devoted to nothing but sports as it is- watch those and be happy; or find another service and patronize them. It's just that simple. It's not like Time Warner Cable is the only option you have anymore.

Furthmore...I don't have another option currently.  I am in Grafton, I rent, my townhouse only has a Eastern facing.  My "options" are TWC or OTA.  Period.  And I have called TWC.  I have emailed TWC.  What am I to do?  Move?  Try to find another apartment that takes a decent sized dog?  Get rid of my dog?  Well, what?

Hey it's no skin off my nose if they don't add the sports channels. I'm pretty happy with the channel selection as it is.
