From Best Buy or any other stores? I need to calibrate a Toshiba  HD-A2 I bought today. Thanks.

Rent it if you can. On the HD DVD side of the calibration disk there is no audio instruction. If you are planing to get into TV's service manual then this disk might be helpful. Otherwise, the free THX optimizer on a regular DVD would be just be as good.

I have a cal. disc for standard DVD, but I thought I needed an HD one for a HD DVD player?

All the test screens and videos are in HD, otherwise everything else are about the same. DVE is not the most user friendly calibration disk. If you just want to calibrate color and contrast. A regular DVD will do fine.

Doesn't DVE come with colored cellophane for adjusting color? If the rental was missing that, the disc would be less than optimal.
