I'm considering getting the HD-A2, since it's down below $200 now. Where is the best deal for HD-DVD rentals? Netflix or Blockbuster? Which one do you guys like better?

I've used both NetFlix and Blockbuster, although I only had Blockbuster for one month.  At the time, Blockbuster was fine for older releases, but I didn't get any of the newly released movies during that time.

NetFlix was much better, but in the last two months they've also been taking a longer time to send out new releases.  It took five weeks before I finally got 300 (great movie), for example.

If you don't mind waiting a few of weeks for new releases, either service is probalby fine.  Older releases are much faster, but you may have some problems with scratched discs (ugh, I don't understand how careless some people are).

I'm on the $8.99 unlimited, one at a time plan, which works out to just about $2 per rental, which is a pretty good value.

There is a trick to getting new releases on the first day. Just make sure on Sunday there is no other movie in you queue other than the new movie(s) that will be release the following Tuesday. That's how I got 300 and Transformers on Wednesday.
