Why is the pre game show not in HD?

CBS 58 keeps kicking the pregame show out of HD before the Packers-SD game today.  WHY?

Because they want to advertise their postgame show.  That doesn't seem right to me.  It's bad enough when it gets kicked out cuz we are getting 1-2 inches of snow - but forgoing HD so a channel can advertise?  No thank you.

It seems to me that channels should be required to show the full HD feed, unless there is a mandated weather warning.  Full coverage or no coverage.

I'm sure there is a lot of channels that would be happy to show the game and NOT kick it out of HD just to show their own stupid commercial crawl.

JMHO.

Or, move up to the 21st century like most other major cities (perhaps Milwaukee is not major) and get the equipment needed to generate and broadcast local content in HD.  I've seen this done in Boston, Chicago, and San Diego.  Then you could have your uber-mega warnings about a 50% chance of 1" of snow the next day without dropping out of the HD feed (like the Milwaukee PBS channel).

I watch the Fox pregame show but I watched the Packer game on the Sunday Ticket channel, not 58.  I literally watch nothing on 58.

Yeah same here, pretty much worthless other then a few football games.
