I'm not gonna watch your crappy postgame show when you shut off HD to run your stupid ticker advertising your crappy postgame show.  Especially when your SD feed is so abysmal.

Wow, what horrible timing.

If they're going to drop to SD in order to run a post-game ticker reminder, couldn't they do it between plays or when they cut to a booth shot?

Lets not forget when they run it, they run it about 4 - 5 times.  I think it is completely unacceptable.  I didn't watch it either, partially because of that.

Nothing the high school a/v kids at 58 do surprises me.

Bebop

I think they spent most of their budget replacing the sunken truck instead of a digital crawler.

Thank god most of the Packer games are on FOX not on stupid CBS58.

Well it could have been much worse.. Could you imagine if there was a severe thunderstorm 3 counties over!

That's one reason why I subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket Super Fan. I don't have to rely totally on poor decisions made by local stations.

So does ST show a separate feed of the Packer game even when the local station is broadcasting the game in-market?

I also object to the fact that Ch. 58 doesn't have insert capabilities in HD!  The SD video was absolutely horrible when the insert was crawled.  I'm wondering if they ran that video through a VHS machine, or something!

Dear CBS58...please make a deal with Directv so those who have difficulty with obtaining your CBSHD signal OTA for primetime HD programming can get it through the dish in the new fall season now upon us.:bang:

I think the problem with CBS58 is that:
1. CBS58 manageres don't care about Packers.:o  If this is the case they should be replaced.{fart}
2. CBS58 managers don't have HDTVs yet.:guitar:  If this is the case then nothing we can do to help that station.:bang:

Actually I think that all executives of Milwaukee local TV stations still don't have HDTVs at their homes, because they will be first to correct all these horrible weather alerts during HD broadcasts.

Just look at Chicago. They never do these alerts by switching to SD, they have some message for 1 min or so on top of HD program. That is what can be called professionalism. Also Chicago ABS station has already local news in HD. Other stations will follow. That means Chicago executives have HDTVs at their homes:D

Yes, ST shows a separate feed.  All ST games are in the 700s on DirecTV with feeds untouched by the local CBS and FOX affiliates.

Yes, but the feed is not available if the game is televised by a local affiliate.

Actually, that is not the case for the HD feeds.  I have the Superfan and I watch the Packers game on ST and not on the local affiliate.
