TWC HD Box Confusion

i was told by a TWC rep that my pioneer box is outdated and i should switch it with the scientific atlanta explorer 3250.  they're also testing a new samsung hd box which is not available yet.  i've minor problems with my pioneer and i'd love to try something else.  is the scientific atlanta explorer 3250 that much better?

I don't have experience with the SA standard boxes, but the DVRs are good.  The Pioneer box was really slow, froze up a lot and rebooted everytime I turned the TV off (using the DVI connection).  I would imagine anything would be better than them.

There also used to be a Pace branded box.  I'm not sure if they deploy those anymore or not, but it was a good box until they put the Navigator software on it.

i called TWC at mayfair and they didn't have the scientific atlanta explorer 3250 in stock. is there another location that may have it?

IIRC,  there is a store at Southridge now too.
