How many people have a RCA DTC-100?

If so, do you like it? Are you using the component adapter?

I sorta have it....it is built in on my P61310 so I have the basic same receiver but don't have access to outputs (sorta screwed up there didn't they).
Otherwise it works fine...but it is very slow on changing channels.  So if you are a speed surfer it's not for you.

It's OK, But I really have little to compare to. I actually like the HiDTV card better, but the DTC-100 is on the "big screen." I have the Audio Authority compnent box. It seems to work fine, but there was problems with the DTC several years ago. Supposedly a downloaded fix solved all ills. That fix took place two years ago.

I know this as I was in Hawaii two years ago when it happened

I have a DTC-100 that I picked up as an open box special from American about a year ago of so. I have had no problems with other than a lip sync issue and "freeze" that powering off then on took care of.
I am using the RCA with a VGA "breakout" (RGB+HV)cable to my Mitsubishi.

I also have a DTC-100 using a VGA "Breakout" cable to my Mits.  I'm very happy with it although the channel changing, guide info and surfing the guide are slower than my Sony non-HD receiver.

I have one, also with the Audio Authority component box. With  nothing to compare it to, I don't know if I should be happy with it or not...

I agree that seems to take a real long time to switch between DirecTV and OTA. I do like the OTA signal strength meter.

I only have one recommendation on this..

Avoid it at all costs

I had from January of last year to early July.  It died and I paid $130 for a replacement.  The warrenty is only 90 days.

Got a replacement after about a month wait.

It died after a week and a half.

They offered to send another replacement...  After about a month they sent me a letter offering a refund since they didn't have any units to ship me and wouldnt for some time.

I send in my reciept in early October and I'm still waiting for my check.  So I've been without hdtv since July.  All thanks to RCA.
