58-1 & 58-2 Guide Data

Any chance in "H" "E" Double Hockey Sticks that 58 will have an OTA program guide that actually works? I can't remember the last time I saw guide data for either station. Those are the only two channels where the newspaper listing come in handy. :mad:

Good...  I'm glad someone else noticed this.  I haven't had guide data for 58-1 and 2 for I don't know how long.  I thought maybe my receiver was just screwing up all this time.

An easy way to solve a problem, is to inform the television station, and make them aware, of your concerns. The telephone no. of channel 58, is 414-777-5800

CBS 58 has been made aware of the problem many times over the years.  They fix it for a couple of days and then the guide data is gone again.  Maybe if they got multiple calls or emails every time it happened, they would invest in a permanent working solution?  Or is that wishful thinking?

Well its been over two weeks since I contacted 58 using the feedback@cbs58.com e-mail address. What a shock, still no program guide. Maybe I'll rattle the FCC's cage, or at least let them know. If only the lack of a program guide could be considered obscene.

While you're at it, the FCC may be more interested in the fact that they NEVER have closed captioning available on the digital channel, either.  That may get their attention more than the lack of program guide data.  They seem to coincide -- when CC works on 58-1, so does the program guide (for that rare one day window when it does work).  

I'm hoping the FCC might rattle their cage more on the CC, as without it, it makes the digital 58-1 feed useless for the hearing impaired.

I watched Wheel o Fortune tonight on 58-1 and it had captioning. Guide still wasn't working at the time.

I still can't believe that this is still an issue after adding two low power digital stations that can at least tell you you're watching "Wisconsin's Telemundo" & WMLW Means Milwaukee". :bang:

Why is the Program Guide on 58 still a problem! Even WVCY can do it!
