Hi Folks,

Just picked up a Samsung HL-T5055w from Sam's. Seemed like a great deal
with the stand included. This is for a living room application and is
really seldom used (as we're installing a theater in the basement). A
baseball game here, a 'Dateline' show there. That's about it.

I believe this unit is an entry level model and I'm fine with that for
the application it will be used in. I've searched everywhere I can think
of, but have found very little info about this TV to read. So far, I'm
pretty happy with the unit, but it does have a 'dusty' look to the
screen. Especially when the picture is very bright or displaying white.
When that's the case, you an see what looks to be a film of dust on the
entire surface of the screen. It looks as if there is a layer of dust
between the layers of the projection screen. I'm sure that's not the
case, but that's how it looks.

Does anyone here have this TV? Have you noticed the same 'dusty' problem?

Thanks!
