A&E, HGTV, Food Get New Look
Comcast will be adding three high-definition channels—A&E HD, HGTV HD and Food Network HD—to its lineup in coming weeks, part of its push to have 800 HD offerings by 2008.

800 HD offerings?

I assume they are counting all the local channels they offer across the country.  Although I do not get Comcast what would be more telling to me would be the number of National HD channels they offer.

And currently this is what I can find: Zip.  Not a lot.

It appears that comcast will not give you the HD channel listing unless you can give them a valid address and as I do not have a valid address I am out of luck....

Oh well, can't get them so they do not interest me anyway.....{fart}

Here are two of the lineups:
MA: ESPNHD, ESPN2HD, NESNHD, FOODHD, MTVHD, HGTVHD, TNTHD, AETVHD, DHD, UHD, Golf/VsHD, HBOHD, MOJOHD, STARZHD, SHOHD, MAXHD, + All Locals (CBS fullbitrate affiliate)

CT: NESNHD, YESHD, ESPNHD, ESPN2HD, TNTHD, DHD, MOJOHD, NGCHD, UHD, MTVHD, Golf/VSHD, HBOHD, SHOHD, STARZHD, MAXHD, + All Locals

Note: Every single Home/Road game with the exception of FauxHD national stuff is in HD on NESNHD. Last weekend the Sox/Yankees Friday game was on ESPNHD, NESNHD, YESHD simultaneously with zero blackouts on Comcast here. 10.5 game lead after tonight's rain delayed game. :rock:

I'm not sure if this works on other ISPs:
