Antenna in Oconomowoc area?

I have DirecTV, but got the promo for the SD DVR package last year. It would cost $300 to upgrade equipment for HD, plus the monthly fee. Even at that, there is no CBS58. So... I'm thinking about an antenna.

Does anybody around Oconomowoc have an antenna, if so - what type and how is it mounted? I would like to avoid the 20-foot monster like my father used to have. Attic mounting would be great.
