ESPN2 HD Coming soon to TWC???

You're getting the same responses I got after asking 3 times.  At least they are consistent now.  I don't believe there is any technical reason why ESPN2HD can't be viewed with a cablecard, except that TWC has chosen to put it in a package to prevent you from getting it.  In theory as of July 1st 2007 even all of TWC's own boxes need to use cable cards according to the FCCs rulings, but I don't think they have any intent of doing that.

I argued and argued and somehow ended up with a "promotional offer" which amounted to a free HD DVR box.  I thought I had won the battle but I can not believe how POOR the picture quality is coming out of these TWC boxes for analog channels.  It's Analog to digital conversion is horrible compared to the one in my TV.  I plan on splitting the signal and running it into the box and into my TV so I can choose which I want to watch.  And yes, I've played with all the output options.

A U-Verse boxeave recently been installed in my neighborhood, I'm waiting for it to become available and then I may jump ship for a while.
