FSN Minnesota has released the Twins HD schedule (a mighty generous offering I might add...40+ games) Does anyone know why FSN Wisconsin continues to have their collective thumbs up their butts and not knowing what 10 or  (if we're lucky) 15  Brewer games will be in HD?
They MUST know by now that high def tvs aren't just in 1% of homes anymore. :huh?:

oops...I see I spelled schedule wrong *blushes*

Mikey

If anyone finds outs, please post it here, I'd be more than interested myself...though I'm not expecting many.  I am getting used to the short end when it comes to HD offerings around here...

I wish we could get more HD Brewers content.  I checked the brewers dot com site, and the broadcast schedule there simply says FSN.  The various broadcast press releases don't mention anything about HD games (although I'm sure you already know that).

Game is on ESPN so that game "should" be in HD.   Other than that, we'll be waiting.

Here is an email I received from the Brewers today (April 3)

"Just talked to someone at FSN, and believe it or not they still do not
have a finalized schedule yet!  Certainly, the goal is to get as many
games as possible in HD, but as I'm sure you see with a lot of HD
programming, it seems to work in baby steps.  I'll send something over
as soon as I see it!"

When you turn to Fox Sports Net HD....it says special coverage in HD for these games.....

4/30 Stl @ Mil
5/01 Stl @ Mil
both at 7:05pm

5/18 Min.@ Mil  at 7:05pm
5/19 Min.@ Mil  at 6:05pm

^^ Saw that last nite too. I'm guessing the 4/30 game will be blacked out on ESPN in favor of FSN.

Ooh!  Two games per month!  That's a rate of twelve per season.  Bush league.

Maybe the new designation as FSW-WI & FSN-MN are clearing they way for a seperation thus opening the door for more Brewers in HD???

I see MLB EI free preview is back on TWC after they finished a new deal.  Guide info only shows NHL/MLB but two games being shown.  The In Demand game listing showns HD coverage on different games including the Brewers in April.

correct me if im wrong but i dont think TWC even carries the GAMEHD channel for Extra Innings, even though most of the Red Sox Games are in HD:mad:

Quotemost of the Red Sox Games are in HD
Unless they're playing a national game done by Fox/ESPN, they're definitely in HD home and road. Won't  likely spring for Extra Innings this year, because I already have ESPNHD, ESPN2HD, INHD, NESNHD, and YESHD.

From brewers.com this evening:

"Picture this: Fox SportsNet Wisconsin announced on Monday that it will televise 17 Brewers games in high-definition this season.

The first high-definition telecast is scheduled for May 1 against the Cardinals at Miller Park. Other scheduled high-definition telecasts are May 18-19 (Minnesota), June 4-5 (Cubs), June 18-19 (San Francisco), June 25-26 (Houston), July 20-22 (San Francisco), July 31-Aug. 1 (Mets) and Sept. 24-26 (St. Louis)."

Mikey

17 lousy HD telecasts?

As Mrtanner stated above:  Bush League.  Bush.

:huh?:
