Digital Transition Countdown Begins
The days of the rabbit ears are officially numbered. As of March 1, U.S. retailers can no longer sell analog TVs. All television sets 13 inches and above must be sold with an embedded digital tuner. That's because in two years, over-the-air TV broadcast signals will go dark as part of the congressionally mandated push toward an all-digital medium to help free up the airwaves.
