Will the Toshiba 50HDX82s receive 720?  I didn't think they would so how would that handle ABC's signals?

Does anyone know?

Gregg Lengling

This found in the specs for the unit:  Compatible formats:  480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i HDTV compatible.  So I would say yes!

does anyone know if the panasonic 47wx42 can display 720p natively? i looked through the manual, and it doesn't seem so. if not, will it upconvert to 1080i?

Gregg Lengling

This is unit is a 480p and 1080i display it will not display native 720p.  However most STB's convert or have the capability to convert 720p to 1080i.  So I don't think you'll have a problem depending on your STB.

Thanks a bunch. I don't have an STB yet, but I was considering either the samsung 150 or 151. Is there anything to recommend one over the other? I don't need DVI or firewire connections.
