I want Brewer games :)

I know the Brewer games are on FSN and I know the (3) providers; Direct, Dish, and Charter all carry FSN, but have heard that there are sometimes issues because FSN (WI) is secondary to FSN (MN).  Is this issue with all the providers?

If I based my cable provider decision off of wanting to see Brewer games, which provider; would be the best choice?

HD is important too!  Which provider would be best for seeing games in HD?

Oh ya, I just moved to Jackson.  I think the cable provider is Charter over TWC, but not sure.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Cable is not affected by being secondary, SD or HD. If FSN is your primary concern, its a no brainer to go with cable,  be it Charter or TWC or whomever.

Ok that makes sense.

If I wanted to get a satellite/dish over cable would Dish or Direct be better for the Brewer games?  Do they both run into problems with FSN (WI) sometimes being secondary?

Do both Dish and Direct have FSN HD?

I've had both Directv and TWC.  You'll get every Brewer game that's on FSN

Having (2) providers isn't in my budget :(

I think he meant you could go either way and get all the games. :)

BTW, I read this morning that WMLW (Channel 41) will be carrying 15 games this year.  So, make sure you can get that channel too.  I know D* carries the SD version of it - and there really isn't an HD version of it right now (just a subchannel on 58).

140 of 162 games on TV this year - that should make you happy. :)

This seems to be getting a little murky. Getting the games will not be an issue whomever you go with. However, getting the additional stuff like pregame, postgame, and special events like "Brewers Classics" will be very dicey if you go with sat over a cable provider. This is due to the secondary nature of FSNN-WI and why D*/E* puts the WI stuff on a alternate channel.

Oh ya, I reread the post and he HAD both.  Thanks :)

140 of 162 is awesome!!!  My finace and I just bought our first house so we are going to have to cut back on the number of games we go to.

So if they(Brewers) say the game is on FSN, I'll be able to see it with D*, E*, and Charter.  There wouldn't possibly be a MN game on or something else in place of the Brewer game?

I understand that pregame/postgame shows may not be available on D* or E*.
