WTMJ Problems Tonight - 2/15/07

What's up with channel 4 tonight?

First the lip sync was off at the beginning of The Office, then about 10 minutes into it, they switched to SD.

From the postings over on the AVS Forum, it looks like this was a national problem, not a local issue.

Yeah, definitely national... the Apple ad (a national spot) during the last C-break of "The Office" still ran in HD, even though the show had dropped to SD.

I know for me, at the beginning of Earl, there was a vertical band on the right hand side of the screen (on my 56" it was about 4-5 inches wide).  It was annoying as hell.  It wasn't on the sd channel nor was it on the over-the-air WTMJ HD feed.  Only on TWC's channel 504.  It was eliminated about 10-15mins into the show, but still...

I am seeing many issues on Thursday night NBC HDTV rather consistently.  WTF?
