Just picked up new HDTV!!!!

Hey all,

Over the last hour PBS is the most coolest station ever... Mostly because its the only one broadcasting in HD at 2 a.m.

I just installed my new Vizio 37" LCD in the living room. All i can say is WOW!
I have a HD projector in the basement but this is a whole different beast. I have a stand alone LG tuner in the basement that is super picky with picking up ota stations. The tuner in the Vizio is great. I picked up 20+ digital channels. I just looked outside and the antenna isn't even pointed in the right direction. So far, I am impressed with the ota capability.

In 2 weeks i will have D* out here installing a new dish and hooking me up with an HR20 DVR.... I dont know if this is the best move in the world but im going with it. I hear there are super problems with that box. It wont cost me anything so i guess i will give it a try.

I must say the pic on the Vizio looks awesome. Im not one of those picky picture quality people. Its a hell of lot better that my 27" zenith tube tv.

I think that D* is not the best HD right now (Dish Network is right now) , but everybody tend to agree that they have a good potentail in the near future.
