Quote from: robster1970;37350Manning has been well known to put the blame on other players on his team when things go bad. He has one of the best offensive lines in football. There was a stat in the playoffs for the last 4 years he has had the best protection. Least hurried, rushed, sacked etc. Many good quarterbacks with that line and receivers could put up huge numbers. I'm sure not a simpleton. I would never call anybody that. I can agree to disagree though. gotta love America.

In addition to that, great QB's can make their O-line look pretty damn good in pass protection by making quick decisions.

As a Packer fan, I've seen that first hand for the last 15 years or so.

Good o-line play is critical, no doubt, but consistent, great QB play can cover up inefficiencies of sub-par pass blocking.

Jealousy is a terrible thing. Isn't it Packer fans? Can you say "rebuilding"?

Bluto

Jealousy?  Have you seen our SuperBowl trophies?  They're beauts.

It's more like hate than jealousy.  Here's hoping you have a miserable Sunday, Ralph. :)

Who cares about the Bears, Favre is back and...

It's by no means jealousy.

It is 100% disgust and hate of a "rival".

Got it?

Good.

Don't forget to buy a couple boxes of Kleenex for after the game.  With lotion.  We don't want your sorrow to make your nose raw.

Go BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!

Two boys are playing hockey on a pond in a Chicago Park when a crazed
Rottweiler suddenly attacks one of the boys.

Thinking quickly, the other boy takes his hockey stick, shoves it under
the dog's collar, twists it and breaks the dog's neck, saving his
friend.

A reporter is standing by, sees the incident, and rushes over to
interview the boy.
"Young Cub Fan Saves Friend From Vicious Animal," he starts writing in
his notebook.
But I'm not a Cubs fan," the little boy replies.

"Sorry, but since we're in Chicago, I just assumed you were," says the
reporter and starts writing again.

"Sox Fan Rescues Friend From Horrific Attack," he writes in his
notebook.
"But I'm not a Sox fan either," the little boy replies. "Sorry, but
since we're in Chicago, I just assumed you were," says the reporter and
starts writing again.

"Bears Fan Rescues Friend From Horrific Attack," he writes in his
notebook.
"I'm not a Bears fan either," says the boy. "Oh... I assumed everyone
in Chicago was either for the Cubs, Sox or Bears.

What team do you root for?" the reporter asked.
"I'm a Packers fan," the boy replies.

The reporter starts a new sheet in his notebook and writes:

Did you really think Favre was not coming back? Gimme a break. I'm not saying he doesn't love playing, because he does. He'll earn $12,000,000 next year.

Great game!

Well done, Grossman.

That Super Bowl was quite enjoyable.  I thought I would like to see the bears lose the game, it turns out that I LOVED IT!

Midway through the game, the thought occured to me:  Rex Grossman might just be the worst ever starting QB for a Super Bowl playing team.

And Chicagos D?  Played like they did down the stretch of the regular season.  Soft and timid.

Indy's o-line did a magnificent job at opening holes.  I was impressed.  I was hoping that someone on the o-line would get MVP honors, or one of the RB's, but it went to Manning, who played very good and repeatedly took what was there.

Was a fun game to watch.

The score is misleading...the game wasn't anywhere near that close.  After the kick return, Indy dominated.

On to the draft prospects!

Gooooo Pack!!

robster1970

Just proves NFC is way behind AFC. I think they have won 8 out of the last 10 Superbowls.  First half was good but I thought the second half was boring. Figured Rex would screw up. Not being a fan of either team, I didn't  think it was that great of a Superbowl. I always love it when god is brought up to help some team win. The owner of Indy said something about god being on their side and faith. Something like that. I guess nobody on the other team had faith in god.

With George Halas spending eternity in Hell, that makes sense. :)
