Actually it's Sinclair that's pulling the plug on Mediacom due to Sinclair electing retransmission consent instead of must carry. This one you can blame congress for not the broadcasters or cable companies for allowing this to happen. DirectTV, Dish, and other providers already pay broadcasters for carrage of local signals. Sinclair may be the first to start this train wreck but they won't be the last.
Call it what you want but remember TV is a business with all sides looking to make money.

I was trying to figure that one out myself so I can participate in the free antenna offer from befairsinclair. Heck, if they want to pass out free antennas to an area served by TWC, I'm game.
