What's the best in HD?

From Tim Cuprisin's column in todays Sentinel/Journal:

QuoteVERY GREEN, VERY GOLD: In case you missed it - and, based on calls, some people have - Channel 6 has picked up tonight's Packers-Vikings game from the NFL Network, which isn't carried by Time Warner Cable.

The game airs at 7 p.m. and, yes, it is available in high-definition if you have the right equipment. And nothing looks better in high-definition than an NFL game.
I'm thinking he didn't see the Victoria's Secret Fashion show in HD on the CW the other night.

Or the live broadcast from the Space Station on HDNet a few weeks back.

But that raises the interesting question:

What looks the best in HD?

I'm thinking we'll use this thread and take your suggestions, and then use those suggestions to create a poll so we can settle it once and for all. :)

Both Fox 6 is carrying it and so is TWC on cable.  So your choice 6-1 or 506.

The Masters. Even though I like football much more,  its hard to beat golf in HD.  With the PQ improvment of HD you can "read" the greens from your couch.

No need to stop at the Masters.  This year, every PGA tournament will be in HD!

Versus/Golf will carry the 1st 2 rounds & NBC/CBS will carry the weekends.  THe Masters is awesome, but it will be great to watch a ton of HD golf this year.

Everything looks better in HD, but I'll have to agree with Tim and say football has benefitted the most.  Just my opinion.

I agree everything looks better in HD...My vote goes to Bikini Destinations :D

For me it is the first NBA All Stars game in HD in 2002, the last one with M. J. It was an excellent PQ from TNT HD and very good game.

Concerts. Everything is just that much more distinct... blacks are really black, and the lighting just "pops." (Plus, the 5.1 surround is nice too. :D)

The shuttle launch on HDNet.  Awesome!

Have you ever watched a CBS NFL game in HD?

VERY stunning and there DD5.1 for them is breathtaking.

Now the only problem with CBS is there are only 3 games a week in HD and I will have to watch my Steelers Vs. Raven game in SD

Some of the nature shows can be pretty amazing in HD.  I think a lot depends on the quality of the camera and how well it focuses.  Just a hair out of focus and any HD sports or whatever is no longer eye candy.
