I try to get there signal but it is very faint. Barely blips on my signal meters. Are they at full power? Is anyone else getting them OTA from around 40 -50 miles away?

I'm getting a 90% signal in Sheboygan.

Yes, what antenna are you using?

Blitzburgh

Channel Master CM4228

The CM4228 is primarily a UHF antenna however it does perform fairly well at high VHF frequencies. Based on your distance and the fact you are having difficulty with channel 8, a separate VHF antenna would help matters. Also if the CM4228 is assembled improperly it can cause signal degradation.

Here's a link to some info on the CM4228....

It comes preassembled.

I wonder if the signal is just weak by me.

So the next question would be.....where abouts are you?
