Prices for high-definition TVs will indeed hit dramatic new lows on Black Friday, according to a Web site tracking national chain insertion ads for the day after Thanksgiving. The fabled 42-inch HD flat panel for under $1,000 will be available at a couple of stores, with many other previously unheard-of deals available as well. The site, Blackfriday.info, lists ads for stores including Wal-Mart, Sears, Target, Costco and other major chains.
