CBS HD (NY) should be included in your Directv HD package to begin with.  You shouldn't have to call.. but if you don't have it then I would definitelly complain.

When I called DirecTV and asked them if I could get the national CBS HD feed, they said no.  Since I live within antenna range of a CBS station, I cannot get a national feed.

I didn't press the issue too much as I was just gathering some info at the time.

CBS HD should not be included in the HD package because WDJT is not a CBS O&O.  Only O&O's are included if your city has one, which is why we get FOX NY.

I guess I was wrong I have Directv at my cabin up north and have no problem getting that feed but I guess Milwaukee is screwed as usual.

:D

LOL. You would have to get a waiver to get your distant CBS channel. They won't give you a waiver.
