Showtime HD Preview on Time Warner Cable

A Showtime free preview started Friday for customers on Time Warner Cable.  This includes Showtime HD on ch 509 and regular channels 351-366.

There is also a preview on for the NHL package on channels 880-889.  

I'm not sure if these previews are available on satellite.

I guess that's because the method they're having to use to add the preview is by actually ADDING showtime channels, not just allowing access to the existing feeds. If they had to add another HD preview (in addition to the current RaveHD free preview) they'd have to suck bandwidth away from another HD station.

Man, I'm glad for previews like this. It makes me remember why I don't sign up for these channels in the first place.

Thanks for the heads up... this seems to include Showtime on Demand too.

Why don't they advertise this stuff?  How are they going to get people to subscribe to channels by offering a preview, if nobody knows the preview is there?

Usually it's only for a weekend...so I would imagine it ends tonight>
