WISN 12 and their horrible annoying logo

Why not have the 12 in the opposite corner from the ABC logo?

To me, I think it's less annoying if everything is in one spot.

For those that live in the southern half of Milwaukee County, try pointing an antenna south and pick up WLS; I live on the south end of Greendale and pick up WLS with few problems.  It's one of the most reliable of the Chicago stations.  WFLD 32 & WPWR 50 are also easy to pick up most nights when I scan the services in Chicago.

Yes it is rather large and annoying.....but it is at least transparent.  Check out FOX 6 HD logo.  Its bright white with no transparency at all!! It is the only logo that has burned in to my plasma under nornal viewing.  Yes you can only see it with a solid color screen like a white background commercial or a footbal field but it is still there.  So beware of the FOX 6 HD logo  if you have a plasma, so you do not get the same problem.

While I sympathize for people with burn-in... I don't feel too bad for them. I did a lot of reasearch before purchasing my HDTV's, and that's a reason I didn't get plasmas. A friend of mine has a 2 year old plasma, and it's already got the non-HD "pillar box" bars burned in. If the FOX logo doesn't get it, something else probably will.

Personally, even though it's brighter, I prefer the FOX-HD logo over the logos WISN spews all over the image. It's smaller, neater, and much less distracting. While I think a clear logo would be a much better idea, I still prefer it over the WISN logos.

I agree that having the 12 in the corner throughout the entire episode is silly.  It also seems to be a manual process for the people in Master Control to be consious of.  Sometimes it's there through a couple commercials, sometimes it doesn't show up until well into the segment.  Dropping it all-together would be awesome, but at the very least, smaller and better placement would be a good idea.
