TWC HD Promotion

TWC has the HD package on sale right now.  It is $2.99/mo for 6 months (then jumps up to the normal price of $6.99/mo).  Pick it up now, get ESPN HD for the remainder of the football season, then drop it befor the price goes up.

Yes, that has been going on for some time, many of my clients/referrals/friends I have/know have got it, at least for now.

This TWC ad  is mentioning 18 HD channels - don't believe that and I feel that it is misleading.

I look at it this way:
Count 15 full time HD channels(if you get everything)and then if you add that 1 HD PPV channel (500) for a total of 16 - but that isn't a subscription channel like the others are (premium HD channel or package).
Then... if TWC is counting that 99.9% never-used FOX  HD channel 531, I get 17.
Question:
Is Channel 502 (that once-a-month "Boxing" Channel?) counted in as #18?

Too bad we have to buy 100 SD channels before we can purchase the HD ones.  Some day I may break down and join the collective.  They keep telling me that resistance is futile.....
