MTV Networks' first foray into high definition, MHD, has been a bit of a mystery. Unlike the cable powerhouse's other heavily branded, content-packed channels, the HD network hasn't been promoted to consumers or the press and has a very limited roster of shows. MHD most closely resembles an early VH1, an adult contemporary music video channel targeting 18 to 49 year olds.
