So I am looking for some reasonable theater seating for my basement. Its not a dedicated theater room, just a large rec room with bar area and a seating area. I would love the traditional 3 or 4 across home theater seats but the price is hard to cough up. Now I have seen some deals on ebay lately for 3 across seating for 600 or 700 bucks. Only issue is that shipping is 300 or 400 hundred. Anyone have some insides if there are any deals like that locally or know of a way to get them. I wouldn't have an issue picking something up in the area. The other thought was some of those cheap rocking reclining chairs at shopko for 80 bucks on sale with an ottoman.

Constantly watch Colder's and others, I've seen them clean out floor samples very cheap.  I saw a leather group of 4 seats go for $500 a couple months ago (when I still managed the store...now retired again).

I'd jump on that. Only problem is that I live near sheboygan and don't get to visit those stores very often.

There is a Colder's(the one I used to manage) just south of you by Grafton.  It's right on the freeway at I43 and Hwy 60.
