LG 32LX1D questions

I was looking at getting a 32" lcd for a new living room set. I have a rather small living room and figure this would do. I noticed CC has a nice deal going on with the LG 32LX1D. I would like to stay under 1K. I noticed that Walmart sells a few 32" units as well. I would like to stick with a more known company such as lg.
Does anyone have any experience or know of any issues with the lg? Also does anyone have other suggestions for a similar tv. Thanks

I picked out this TV for the In-Laws late last year when it was 1699.  I think it's a great set.  It looks amazing.  When I saw it was 999 last week at CC, I almost pulled the trigger for myself, but the price jumped back up in a couple of days and I decided against it.  The Price has been jumping all around since then.  Almost on a daily basis.  Anybody know of a reason for this?  I have had a good experience with the TV, but I am curious about the price fluxuation.  Does anybody else have any opinions on this Set.  I am thinking of picking it up if it if it drops to 999 again, but was hoping for a couple more opinions from the board first.  Thanks.

When I saw it was 999 last week at CC, I almost pulled the trigger for myself, but the price jumped back up....

I know... I was so mad the next day, i looked and it jumped back up.. I guess for now this one is out of the running.  :mad:

I would almost guess that this model is about ready for replacement if you bought one late last year.

I have heard that this fall (not far away) to expect a substantial price-drop (30-40%) especially for LCD's. There may be a new model replacing it soon and it might be cheaper or this one will still be around but much cheaper.

I would wait just a little longer unless you need it now. I want an LCD, probably around a 23" for our bedroom. My 20" Mitsubishi from 1986 is getting hard to watch especially now that I hooked it up to my LG 3200 HD box. Of course it's not HD but that box has a much sharper picture than the old Hughes Gold box and it shows in a not too good way on the old Mitsu.

I need a new pc too, either dual-core or HT but how to get the wife to go for both is my dilema.

Hey tywest@mac.com, and everybody else as well!! I just wanted to let you know the LG 32LX1D is On sale at CC for $1049.  I think I might pull the trigger tonight.  It's only $50 more than before, and if it drops even more within 30 days, they will price match.
